My Summer Thus Far
Summer 2016 so far has been amazingly busy and fun! I'm almost finished with my summer A term at the University of North Florida where I am majoring in Elementary Education. During my summer term, I am taking: Intro to technology, Earth space science, and History of rock. Although going to school over the summer isn't seen as the best thing in the world, I am actually enjoying each of my classes. I'm learning new and interesting things that will help me later on in life on top of getting to know other students! If you ask me, going to summer school is more like going to summer camp, just with tests and homework.
With summer A coming to a close, I'm trying to figure out what I should do. To be honest, I'm tired of doing the same things that I always do. That is: sleeping in, eating a lot, and binge watching t.v. this summer I plan to go swimming, canoeing, tubing, snorkeling, and more. Before I get back to the grind of school in the fall, I want to live this summer to the fullest. I am proud to say that I have already gone to the beach a couple of times with friends and family. I've been told that the best place to go to participate in these type of activities is Ichetucknee or Ginnie Springs State Park.
Lastly, another hobby that I have that I would also like to keep is fishing. Last semester, my dad bought me a fishing pole and took me out to get a fishing license. Then we drove to Hanna Park and fished out of the lake for about 2 to 3 hours. It was a lot of fun! I was especially proud of my dad for catching a huge catfish, I know he was proud too!
